Professor Cássio Cavalli indicado para o prêmio Cross-border Insolvency Academic of the Year

É uma honra e uma alegria compartilhar que fui indicado como um dos sete finalistas na shortlist do Global Restructuring Review Awards 2025, na categoria “Cross-border Insolvency Academic of the Year”, pelo artigo “The Vote of Debenture Holders in Brazilian Judicial Reorganization”.  É também uma grande honra ser o único professor brasileiro e proveniente de países latinos — da Europa e das Américas — indicado, representando a Fundação Getulio Vargas, ao lado dos distintos professores de grandes universidades norte-americanas e europeias: Tony Casey (The University of Chicago, US); Sarah Paterson (London School of Economics, UK); Irit Mevorach (Ronen) Mevorach (University of Warwick, UK); Gert-Jan Boon (University of Leiden, Netherlands); Prof. Dr. Stephan Madaus (Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Germany); Janis Sarra (The University of British Columbia, Canada).

It is an honor and a joy to share that I have been shortlisted as one of the seven finalists for the Global Restructuring Review Awards 2025, in the category “Cross-border Insolvency Academic of the Year”, for my article “The Vote of Debenture Holders in Brazilian Judicial Reorganization”.

It is also a great honor to be the only professor from Brazil and from Latin countries — across Europe and the Americas — nominated, representing Fundação Getulio Vargas, alongside distinguished professors from leading North American and European universities: Anthony Casey (The University of Chicago, US); Sarah Paterson (London School of Economics, UK); Irit Mevorach (University of Warwick, UK); Gert-Jan Boon (University of Leiden, Netherlands); Stephan Madaus (Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Germany); Janis Sarra (The University of British Columbia, Canada).

The awards ceremony will take place in London, on November 20.
